Pricing - Understanding Our Services

Professional Writing Services

$25-35 Per Page

General professional writing services begin at a flat rate of $35 per page. If the client provides a detailed draft, or the framework, for a project, the rate decreases to $25 per page.

Dictation and Transcription

$18-$25 Per Hour

One hour of pre-recorded dictation requires editing, formatting and typesetting. More importantly, depending on the project, a single hour dictation recording can be enough material to be 4-6 hours of transcribing, organizing, editing and between 20-100 pages upon approval of the final edit. Therefore, it is more advantageous for the client to be billed hourly.

Kimberly Forga, CEO

Lost Scribe Publishing CEO, Kim Forga, better known by her nom de plume, Kim Yarbrough, is a highly recommended and seasoned professional writer, that has consulted with both well established and new authors, as well as, former members of the F.B.I. and other federal and state agency officials.

Headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, Kim is a Panel Contributor for the Prison Outreach: The Storybook Project of Arkansas and a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators. She also serves as a Pulaski Council member for the Arkansas Literacy Association, as well as, the International Literacy Association.

Reflecting on her own childhood experience, Kim shares, "Growing up as a multiracial child, I cannot recall one story book that featured a character like me. My experience is shared by many others, including my own children today. Sadly, there are still few books available for minority children of all backgrounds and even fewer available for free, inside schools and public libraries, where they belong."

An active and well respected community leader, Kim continues to aggressively address the achievement gap for culturally and economically diverse students, their families and communities, through art, literacy, diversity and inclusion. She remains dedicated to reinventing today's children's literacy, by depicting minority youth in heroic, relatable stories and assisting first time minority authors, as they are vastly under represented in the industry.
